Charley Hull’s recent triumph at the Aramco Team Series at Riyadh Golf Club showcased her exceptional skills, marking her first tour win since 2022. This notable victory in Saudi Arabia saw Hull masterfully navigate each round, targeting greens with confidence and precision to secure a commanding 3-shot lead over Denmark’s Nicole Broch Estrup.
Throughout the tournament, Hull demonstrated her competitive edge. By the end of the second day, she trailed Slovenia’s Pia Babnik by two strokes, but her final round was nothing short of spectacular. While Babnik closed with a steady 1-under-par, Broch Estrup pushed forward with a strong final round, sinking six birdies on her back nine to finish at 15-under-par. However, this performance wasn’t enough to surpass Hull’s unstoppable momentum.
Hull’s third and final round solidified her dominance as she opened with five birdies on the front nine and maintained this pace by adding three more on the back. With just four dropped shots throughout the event, Hull’s impressive 18-under-par finish underscored her consistency and precision. Reflecting on her win, Hull shared her enthusiasm, saying, “It feels really good to win again, especially here in Saudi, it’s my sponsored event with Golf Saudi. I felt really sharp and played solid out there, keeping my game together. Shooting 18-under over three days is a pretty good score!”
This victory adds to Hull’s achievements, with her last tour win recorded at the Volunteers of America Classic in Texas in 2022. Recently, Hull stood out at the Solheim Cup, securing a decisive 6&4 victory over Nelly Korda in the Sunday Singles matches, even as Team Europe ultimately fell to the USA. As the current World No.15, Hull remains a strong candidate for Team Europe at the 2026 Solheim Cup at Bernardus in the Netherlands.
Golfers at the highest level, like Hull, maintain rigorous training routines to continually elevate their game and remain competitive on the world stage. Hull’s success at the Aramco Team Series reflects not only her skill but also her dedication to excelling in elite golf events.
